Summer is here and I’ve been craving a nice, refreshing shandy. The American version of a shandy is part beer and part lemonade. To create my own at home, I started by making my own lemonade.
Basic Fresh Lemonade
-adapted from Ina Garten
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
4 cups water
1 cup crushed ice
1/2 cup Agave Nectar
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve over ice in your favorite glass (mine was chilled) and with a fun straw!
